3:25pm Update, Today's Tornado Risk: Texas

I will be doing special severe weather coverage on Twitter from now until at least 9p on Twitter @usweatherexpert.
Updated tornado forecast from the NWS Storm Prediction Center. The brown area is where there is a significant risk of tornadoes. Please begin monitoring the weather after 2pm and continue into this evening.

Here is a later forecast with the current radar as of 3:25pm. Large or giant hail possible in the western Metroplex with, perhaps, wind gusts to 65 mph.
The southern half of the area has the better chance of tornadoes.

Please prepare yourself and your family for what may be extreme thunderstorm conditions. If you live in a mobile home, I suggest you think about alternative shelter if a tornado watch is issued and then thunderstorms approach. Don't wait for a tornado warning to be issued.
