High Risk of Flash Flooding in Missouri Next 48 Hours

Below is the 24-hour rainfall in Missouri where more than six inches fell in spots.

Unfortunately, more rain -- likely heavy -- will fall in some of these same areas.
A few spots of more than 5" are expected.

The greatest danger tonight and Wednesday morning will be in central Missouri in area from just north of Booneville to just south of the Lake of the Ozarks.

The threat will shift east Wednesday night to eastern Missouri, including St. Louis.
