Hilary Over the United States

The X marks the position of the central of Tropical Storm Hilary. Its maximum sustained winds are 50 mph and the radius of tropical storm force winds (39-74mph) is in amber. The storm should lose its tropical characteristics after midnight.

Gold shapes are flash flood warnings. 31,000 homes and businesses are without power in California. 

Above from the National Weather Service. The heaviest rains are forecast to fall from 5pm to 1am Monday Pacific Time. Life-threatening flooding will result. 

Flash flood risk the rest of the night -- till 6am PDT.
