Blue is a tropical storm warning for the south coast of Texas. I believe the storm will have sustain winds around
50 mph, perhaps a touch stronger, at landfall.
10:31pm update, based on late satellite data, I'm raising my peak landfall speed on the Texas coast to 60 mph.
The storm will bring needed rain to south Texas
However, to the north, there is a serious wildfire risk. It is the magenta area.
Other warnings:
- TS = Tropical Storm Warning TX and LA.
- FF = Flash Flood Watch
- Fuchsia and Orange = Heat Warnings.
