Tornado Risk Increasing in Kansas

Meteorologists know that a particularly favorable location for a tornado is a "tail-end Charlie" storm. The storm near Ashland qualifies and it is turning more to the NE rather than NNE. The northern storm near Rozel also wants to rotate. Atmospheric conditions in southwest Kansas are getting more favorable for tornadoes. Keep a close eye out! Radar at 4:54pm.
