Sunday Fun: Overnight at the "Home on the Range" Cabin
In 1872, Brewster Higley wrote that famous song in this cabin. Wichita Eagle photographer Bo Rader Beccy Tanner spent the night at the cabin. Please watch in a darkened room so you can see the shooting stars. Bo set the camera exposures and put the video together.
Of course, Home on the Range is the state song of Kansas.
Speaking of Kansas, regardless of whether you are a tourist or storm chaser and hungry, try the Ad Astra Restaurant in Strong City. Excellent foot and fun atmosphere. It is open Fridays through Sundays.
Nearby is the outstanding Grand Central Hotel and Cafe in Cottonwood Falls. It is open Mondays through Saturdays.

Actually, Wichita Eagle reporter Beccy Tanner is the person who spent the night in the cabin. Bo provided the camera for Beccy to use to collect the images.
