How Much Rain is Needed to Break the Drought?

Here is the National Weather Service's data on how much rain is needed, in addition to "normal," that is needed to break the drought:

I have high confidence that substantial rains will fall in the Central and South Low and High Plains starting on a widely scattered basis late Wednesday and lasting through Thursday the 29th.

I will have more details on the amounts of rain expected tomorrow with the forecasts going from then to the end of May.
