Accumulation!

9:35am Update: I believe Wichita-Sedgwick Co. will see between eight and 14 inches total snow from this storm.

Original Testing:
It is now accumulating at the Smith House even though the flakes are fairly small.

AccuWeather Regional Radar 8:40am CST (I'm at the X).

  1. Is this precip due to a weak wave/trough ahead of the 'main event'?

  2. It is warm air advection now. The main upper low is on the Calif.-Ariz. border. The heaviest rates of snow in south central Kansas are expected to be tomorrow morning.
