- Green is a tiny, but non-zero threat. I do not use the greens in my system.
- Brown is a significant threat of tornadoes.
- Yellow is an enhanced threat of tornadoes and the hatching mean that strong tornadoes are possible.

Today and Tonight
Since it is a new year, let's go over my 4-level descriptions using (today) the NWS's Storm Prediction Center's forecast. Some days, I make my own forecasts. I will note when that is the case.
Tomorrow is an all-day and night threat. Please plan on keeping an eye on the weather.
