SUV and People Swept Away in Yesterday's Flooding -- Heavy Rain Forecast in Midwest

I try not to post video of people being injured on the blog. I'm making an exception in this case:

This is flooding on I-15 yesterday. After the 1:00 mark you see an SUV and at least person swept away. I do not know their ultimate fates. I am not contending the driver did anything wrong because I don't know exactly how the SUV encountered the water.

That stated, in Tucson yesterday, there was a fatality due to a person who was perfectly safe driving into a flooded area and being swept away. That is the #1 cause of flash flood deaths.

So, I am posting this to give people who are unfamiliar with flash floods a taste of how deadly flowing water can be. Plus, you do not know how deep the water is. Stay out of flooded areas: Turn around, don't drown.

Finally, there is a risk of flooding rains in the purple rectangle late this afternoon to about sunrise Wednesday. In the black rectangle, the threat begins in western areas this afternoon and continues into Wednesday -- especially in the Wisconsin and Illinois areas. This includes I-35 and I-29 after about 2pm through sunrise.
