Storm Update

Radar from 7:19pm. Severe reports of 1" hail in the Wichita-Sedgwick Co. area.

We have confirmed 2" and possibly larger hail in northern Oklahoma. There are also flooded roads near Burlington, OK.  The severe thunderstorm watch continues for northern OK and southern KS until 11pm. In addition to 1" hail, we had 0.72 inches of precipitation at the Smith House in the 40 minutes ending at 7pm.

There is a strong cold front triggering all of this. This is what it looked like as it passed through Springfield, Colo. this afternoon. Photo by Bill Staton of Louisville, CO via Twitter.
