Flash Flooding Becoming a Serious Problem

This photograph, from the Wichita Eagle, was in south Wichita.

Up to 8pm, here are rainfall amounts. Of course, additional rain has fallen since 8pm. In Wichita, we've had 3.56" at Eisenhower National's NWS office.

In addition, the NWS is highlighting the area below as an area (blue) where flash flooding may occur until around 1am.

Turn around, don't drown. Whatever you do-- do not try to cross flooded area by foot or by car.
