Interstate 35 Closed in North Texas

Just got a report that I-35 is closed due to flooding in north Texas between Denton and the Oklahoma border. The radar, as of 1:15, shows far more rain headed in that direction. Major, perhaps life-threatening, flooding likely.
  1. Turn around, don't drown. Whatever you do, don't try to cross a flooded area by car or by foot.
  2. If you live near a small stream in Cooke Co., move to higher ground at the first sign of rising water.
If you are traveling in the area, do not even try to re-route around the closed road through Cooke Co., as many roads are likely to be flooded by the end of the afternoon.
