An Amazing Storm!

We'll begin with an oddity: see the orange in central New Mexico? That's a blizzard warning. Last night, Albuquerque had a severe thunderstorm warning. Now, it has heavy snow falling with gusts to 61 mph!

Current regional radar from 9am shows snow over most of the central United States. Very heavy snows are falling in the Rio Grande River Valley not just in Albuquerque but south into far west Texas. The snow is moving east northeast. 

The pinks in the lower Mississippi Valley is the beginning of the ice storm.
