Oklahoma's Record Summer

While the heat has broken in Kansas (see below) with lots of rain, it has been a record hot summer in Oklahoma. Here is a map from the Oklahoma Climatological Survey showing the number of days with temperatures 100° or higher to date. It is likely a number of weather stations will be past 80 days  ≥ 100°F.
