Oh my, Hurricane Melissa has brought the eccentrics out. Please let me state the following:
  • No hurricane has ever been caused by climate change. Period. 
  • Melissa will not suddenly strengthen and be "steered" into Florida by the United Nations' "Smart City" program. 
  • "We did this" [humans caused Melissa] was stated by dozens of people. Evidently, that is an Official Big Climate Talking Point™. No, we didn't. Humans don't/can't cause hurricanes! We wouldn't even know how.
  • HAARP did not cause Melissa. HAARP does not influence weather. 
  • No hurricane has ever been "manmade."
  • Trump did not steer Melissa into Jamaica to "get hold of its rare earth minerals." Does Jamaica even have rare earth minerals?
  • Yes, there are patents for "weather control," including one for tornadoes and one for hurricanes. They can't, and don't, work. 
  • No one ever specifies who "they" are. 
  • "Chem-trails engineering needs to be halted now!" Implication that it caused the hurricane. 
They go on and on!

Melissa, at its peak intensity, was producing the amount of energy of several atomic bombs per second! We have no way of creating or sustaining that type of energy, let alone channeling it into weather control.

Here is the tornado forecast for the rest of the night (till 6am CST). Red, hatched = high risk of strong tornadoes. Yellow, hatched = enhanced risk of strong tornadoes. Tornado Forecast Update at 2am Wednesday

2am While the risk of tornadoes may continue during the night, this will have to end my coverage.  Note the risk of tornadoes farther east later today.  1:35am Wednesday: Tornado watch will likely be issued for the outlined area, including the Kansas City Metro. Make sure you have a way to receive tornado warnings the rest of the night.  11:55p Tuesday: New tornado watch has just been issued for most south central (including Wichita), southeast and east central Kansas.  This watch is in effect until 7am Wednesday. Updated Winter Storm Forecast, 9:30pm CST

--- This Forecast Has Been Updated  --- You Will Find the New Forecast Here After a quick look at the new data this evening, I believe the forecast is still good. There may be light amounts of freezing rain in north central Texas as far south as Waco. It will not be enough to cause power outages but -- if it occurs -- it will make roads very slick.  The snow amount forecasts haven't changed. I believe DFW will receive 1-3" with heavier amounts as you go northeast.
