Extreme Rainfall in California and Oregon

Over the next 15 days rainfall is forecast to exceed 25 inches of rain over parts of Oregon and along the northern California coast (brightest yellow). In the Sierra, rainfall is forecast to exceed 10 inches.

I predict that the California snowpack reaches the normal by January 1. It will likely exceed normal as the El Nino progresses in January.
