2 Tornado Watches Now in Effect - Update at 6:55p

Third tornado watch of the day. Note this goes until midnight, so it will 
be important to keep up on the weather through the evening. 


4:45pm Update
A second tornado watch is now in effect; this one until 11p.
Please note the forecast is for strong tornadoes.

Between now and 6pm, the colored areas (other than gray) have
the greater chance of a tornado. Central Missouri has an enhanced tornado risk.



1:52pm
We have had a couple of large tornadoes in central Missouri.
Now, we have a likely tornado south of Ft. Smith, AR.
Please keep an eye on the weather throughout the tornado watch.

Unfortunately, we have a tornado risk on this Easter Sunday. 
As of noon, the strong tornado risk area has ben expanded in Missouri.
The first tornado warning of the day has already been issued.

The yellow, hatched area has an enhanced risk of strong tornadoes. The brown area has a significant risk of tornadoes. The most likely times are after 12 noon until about 10pm with the weather system moving from west to east. 

Please make sure you are monitoring the weather later today, especially if you live in the yellow area.
