The ice storm has caused extensive power outages near the Great Lakes and in Upstate New York. It is going to an extended outage for many. DTE Energy, which serves Detroit and southeast Michigan, says it has "no estimate" as to when everyone will have power restored. Others says "most" will have power back on by Saturday.
