8:45am Summary of Weather Warnings

Here is a summary of what is on the map:

• Pink is a winter storm warning for the Colorado-Wyoming storm (see posting below). 
• Dark turquoise is a winter storm watch
• Blue is a winter weather advisory (lesser condition)
• Greens are various flood watches and warnings
• Magenta is a fire weather forecast

There is also the risk of tornadoes and severe thunderstorms through tonight in the area below.

The yellow area has a significant risk of tornadoes and large hail. The tornado risk is highest in the southern half of the yellow area.
