Flash Flood Risk for Southern California
The high resolution computer model data 12:01am PST Tuesday to 6am PST Thursday is showing heavier rain than earlier runs.
If this model is correct, there will be widespread 2 inch rainfalls with a few spots receiving more than seven inches in the mountains. Even with the recent drought, flash flooding could result with rains of this intensity. A flash flood watch has been issued for much of the Southland.
