The Collapse of College Football
The model upon which college football is based is collapsing, I have no problem with Kansas State and Iowa State as neither team has a coach now nor will have at the time of the bowl. The others simply do not want to play. In Notre Dame's case, they want to pick up their marbles and go home because they are angry about the post-season seedings.
Regardless of this reason, this would have been unthinkable even a decade ago.
Things need to be cleaned up:
- It is my opinion that we do not need 51 bowl games.
- ESPN has way too many conflicts of interest regarding post season college football.
- The SECESPN has too much influence over the process.
