48-Hour Rainfall Ending at 10pm Tuesday

From east Wichita to northeast of El Dorado, 5 to 7 inches fell in a matter of hours. Data from the University of Oklahoma indicates this was roughly a once in 75 year event as serious flooding resulted, the worst I've seen.

The entire State of Kansas received rain -- in most places it was needed. However, the heavy rain may have interfered with the ripening wheat crop in places.
