Today Begins a Multi-Day Tornado Risk Across the U.S. East of the Rockies
The yellow, hatched area is where there is an enhanced risk of strong tornadoes. This includes Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. The brown area is where the tornado risk reaches a significant threshold. This forecast is officially valid from now until 7am Thursday. However, the better chance of tornadoes is after 12 noon in Wisconsin and starting after 4pm as far south as Chicago.
Above is a view of the entire risk area.
