Blizzard and Tornado Threats Later This Week

A major winter storm is going to develop mid-week and continue into Friday as it moves northeast. Blizzard conditions are likely in parts of the Dakotas and adjacent sections of Manitoba.
Very heavy snow and cold are also likely around Yellowstone.
Please take this forecast into account if you plan to travel in these areas.

There is also a tornado risk on Thursday.
Please monitor the weather from Kansas City to the DFW Metroplex Thursday and Thursday evening.
