Sirens Book Tour- Watermark Books & Cafe

Wichita turned out in a big way to celebrate Mike's new book When The Sirens Were Silent, Thursday evening at Watermark Books & Cafe. Mike was joined by two local Wichita Eagle Newspaper staff, reporter Denise Neil and photographer Jamie Green who gave a first hand account of being caught in the middle of the Joplin F-5 tornado and how they used their wits to survive. Many nice people came out to support Mike and to hear is presentation including sound effects and rare photos of the actual tornado.

One of Mike's favorite things to do is to answer questions from the audience after one of his presentations and the group last night had many interesting questions. Mike's passion is saving lives and to help to prevent another tragedy like Joplin from ever happening again, being a thought leader, Mike included 3 tear-out pages with the latest information from the American Red Cross and the National Weather Service to keep you safe during a tornado at home, school or in the workplace.

Thanks again to  Watermark Books and to everyone who came out to listen to Mike speak and bought a book. Please tell your friends and families to buy this important book to keep you safe in the event of severe weather. Mike and I will be in Joplin next week at the Joplin Public Library on Thursday, May 17th at 7:00.
