It is impossible to keep up with the number of warnings on a blog, so this is my last update of the evening simply because I want you focused on the weather in your local area. Me trying to "live-blog" all of these storms would be a disservice. That said, here is the radar as of 4:33pm CDT. I have put arrows indicating direction of movement on these storms. Dallas-Ft. Worth watch the storms to the west. OKC, tornado warning for NW suburbs. Watch out around Guthrie and north Okla. county. In KS, NW Sedgwick Co. and Harvey Co., keep an eye on the rapidly approaching storm. Hope you've enjoyed today's postings.

Tornado WARNINGS Now in Effect

...in Oklahoma (purple polygons) northwest of OKC. and, severe thunderstorms in southwest Kansas with the potential to produce tornadoes: The storm between Garden City and Pierceville may be trying to produce a tornado. A particularly dangerous situation  tornado watch has just  been issued for south central Kansas, including Wichita, Hutchinson and Salina.  It will be in effect until 11pm.

First Kansas Tornado Watch Out

Tornado watch for most of the western half of Kansas to the south of I-70 until 10pm. The watch also includes east central and southeast Colorado. I expect a second tornado watch (perhaps a PDS) to be issued in central Kansas later this afternoon. I'm doing special reports for AccuWeather . The latest is here . After about 2pm CDT, you'll want to check the blue link for later reports (they are time-stamped in Eastern time).

"Particularly Dangerous Situation"

A PDS tornado watch has been issued for Oklahoma and northwest and north central Texas including the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex and Oklahoma City until Note that the probability of F-2+ intensity tornadoes is "high." I expect a tornado watch will be issued in Kansas shortly.  The satellite image shows thunderstorms in the Oklahoma Panhandle along the boundary referred to in the posting below.
