Note to Readers: Central U.S. Winter Storm

I will have a complete forecast as to snow amounts, etc., pertaining to the mid- to late week winter storm posted early this evening. In the meantime, here are the National Weather Service's various watches, et cetera. The color code:
  • Dark blue, winter storm watch
  • Green, flash flood watch
  • Maroon, high wildfire danger
  • Amber, high wind potential
