The Destruction of a Slow-Moving Sinkhole

The Los Angeles Times has a story this morning about a moving sinkhole (actually a tiny geyser) that threatens interstate commerce. Their comment about the Union Pacific is technically correct but beyond Yuma it connects Tucson, El Paso, San Antonio, Houston and New Orleans. The railroad has had to build a parallel track because of this natural hazard.
