"Sarah For Wisconsin:" Hail is Proof of Global Warming

In a rather unhinged rant -- that has been removed from her Twitter/X feed -- Sarah Godlewsky says that hail in Wisconsin is proof of climate change. While she is outside talking about hail, the tornado sirens are sounding -- she should be in the basement!

Fortunately, someone grabbed the rant and you can view it here. Sarah is Secretary of State for Wisconsin. In her rant she says we are "ignoring the environment." We've spent $16 trillion on global warming! And, most of it stupidly!

Sarah evidently lives in Madison. The University of Wisconsin with its excellent meteorology department is also based there. I recommend Sarah take its basic meteorology class. In it, she will learn the difference between climate and weather. Wisconsin has always had hail and will always have hail.

In addition, the 1984 Barneveld, WI F-5 tornado was one of the worst in the history of the United States and it occurred at night. Global average temperatures were quite a bit cooler in 1984 (we had just finished the mid-20th Century cooling that climate scientists still cannot explain) -- so you certainly don't need climate change for Wisconsin to experience violent thunderstorms.

Addition: Speaking of stupid environmental moves, this item sums it up pretty well.
