Going to the Big Game?
Let's assume that you won some radio station's contest for two tickets to the Indiana v Miami national championship football game Monday night. Great!

for Miami.
Uncle Mike is helping out with travel suggestions. American Airlines has a major hub in Miami. Here is one way to get there: You will want to leave Saturday morning so you have time to practice your Spanish while enjoying Miami's many cultures and attractions before the big game Monday night.

From Miami International Airport, you take your taxi or Uber to your hotel where the management has thoughtfully adjusted the prices to welcome Hoosier fans. Of course, you will want to see the Atlantic Ocean from your room since, like my Kansas, there are no oceans near your home.

Sunday: Note: if the purple ocean flags that say "marine life" are flying they mean it. The translation? You will be stung by a jellyfish and, if you are allergic, you'll get to watch the game from your hospital bed surrounded by rabid Hurricane fans (the university, not the meteorology).

One great thing: it is not hurricane season (hopefully, an omen). Many Miami fans will be in winter attire as the high temperature Monday is forecast to be in the upper 60's.
Enjoy the game. Go Hoosiers! I will be in Kansas munching Topsy's popcorn cheering you on.
