Tornado Risk Has Increased

Our colleagues at the NWS Storm Prediction Center have increased the tornado danger forecast for today. There is now an enhanced risk of strong tornadoes from Natchez to Jackson to Starkville, Mississippi, to nearly as far northeast as Decatur, Alabama.

The forecast of tornadoes extends now farther northeast into Tennessee.
