Dangerous Flooding Forecast For the Southeast

While the Great Plains and Midwest were receiving the extraordinary rains in May, the Southeast was  correspondingly having a dry spell. That is going to flip to a flooding pattern due to a weak tropical system in the western Gulf of Mexico.
Please note, over the next seven days, some spots are forecast by the NWS to have more than 15 inches of rain. It is vital you prepare accordingly if you live in a flood prone area (see below).
