Here is the updated flash flood forecast from now through 6am Wednesday Mountain Time. I would prepare for the potential for flooding in the yellow and, especially, in the red area. This is the flooding forecast from 6am Wednesday to 6am Thursday.  Category 5 Hurricane Polo off the Mexican Pacific Coast is creeping toward the northwest. It is flowing moisture into New Mexico and will set off flooding.  An important note: This is a powerful  Cat 5 hurricane. It will move northwest for 4-5 days. However, after that, its movement is highly uncertain. Some (not all) models are indicating the weakened hurricane itself, or its remains, could affect Baja and/or the Southwest United States. It is important for people in this area to monitor the weather forecasts and storm warnings.
