Drought Forecast Update Plus A Suggestion for the National Oceanic and Atmospherics Administration

Part I
Here's is my latest forecast of dry and warm (increasing evaporation from the ground) conditions for the next 15 days. To sum it up in one word, dry
Plus, the warmer than average temperatures will cause soil moisture to evaporate more quickly than usual. 

I'm concerned a major drought may be setting up. I will continue to monitor the situation and will post updates every few days.

I wanted to post addition information beyond the above forecast. So, I went to the National Drought Information Center and found this...
So, yet again, NOAA's fragile infrastructure is down. Caused by weather. Perhaps it is time for NOAA to become "weather ready" as its National Weather Service promotes!
