Thanksgiving Travel Weather

Looks we will have the best travel weather conditions in several years for the Thanksgiving period.
For the period from 6am CST Tuesday to 6am Thursday, here is the probability of 2" inches or more of accumulating snow.

There will be problems in the Northwest with heavy snow in the mountains and very heavy rain -- with possible flooding -- at lower elevations. Here is the 5-day rainfall amount forecast ending at 6am CST Saturday.

Safe travels, everyone!

Check back later in the week and I'll have the forecast for your trips back home as well as information about a storm that may bring badly needed moisture to the drought areas next week.
