A severe thunderstorm warning for the New York City area that will tie up aviation this afternoon.

Update at 4:18pm EDT:  From the FAA, here are the latest NYC Airport delays:

• LaGuardia:  19 minutes
• Newark:  45
• JFK:  93 minutes
