Carolina Tornado Situation Increasingly Dire II

At 3:05pm EDT, radar shows supercell thunderstorms northeast South Carolina with multiple tornado warnings in effect (red polygons). Severe thunderstorm warnings (large hail and damaging winds) are the yellow polygons.


Two more hook echoes (tornado signature, indicated by arrows) are seen and an increasingly suspicious thunderstorm farther south (circled) should be watched closely.

This is starting to look like the March, 1984 tornado outbreak in this region. That outbreak killed 57. Please take shelter as these storms approach.
