The Storms of the Past Week

As you watch this radar movie, two things to keep in mind:
  • Generally, the size of the ground clutter pattern around each radar grows at night.
  • The "darts" that seem to suddenly fly across the nation twice each 24 hours is the sun (at sunrise and sunset) getting into the path of each radar's antenna.
