Tornadoes Hit Long Island

A swarm of small tornadoes occurred on Long Island this afternoon. Below is a screen capture of a tornado just before it moved into Mastic, New York.

I annotated the Doppler wind data (upper right, click to enlarge) just before two small tornadoes merged near the town.
