3-Day Rainfall to 4pm Saturday

Needed rains have fallen over the winter wheat belt of the Great Plains but amounts were generally less than what was forecasted.

Unfortunately for wheat planting, little rain is forecasted for next week. 

The day before these rains, the U.S. drought index showed increasingly dry conditions in the wheat belt.
The next significant chance of rain in the wheat belt will be in about 9-11 days.
