George Costanza: Climate Scientist

Marine biologist, err climate scientist, George Constanza lashed out against EPA administrator Scott Pruitt for having the audacity to say, among other things:
  • "Whether we now know the ideal temperatures in the year 2100. It is 'fairly arrogant' for us to think that we know exactly what it would be in 2100."
  • "We know humans have most flourished during times of warming trends."
  • Pruitt also questioned our ability to make a forecast 82-years in the future.
Considering climate science cannot make consistently skillful forecasts 82-days into the future, I think George needs to chill (pun intended) a little bit.
