Evening Update on Central Plains Severe Weather

Tornado watch until 1am for northeast Kansas. Not only are tornadoes forecast to occur, SPC is forecasting hail up to tennis ball size and wind gusts too 75 mph.

The existing severe thunderstorm watches continues in effect. 

As of 6:44pm, the storms continue to strengthen. Just had a report of some minor wind damage near Red Cloud, Nebraska. 

Many reports of hail have been received. There are also high amounts of lighting.
