Rain Gauge is Ready!

At 3:24pm, the first thunder of the 2014 storm season occurred at the Smith House. The rain gauge is out of winter mode and ready for rain.
The 'decorations' on the rain gauge keep birds away.

I've turned the radar upside down to help you correlate the radar photo to what you see in the image. The thin rain streaks at left correspond to the left arrow. The solid area of rain and small hail at right correspond to the right arrow.
It is now raining. I'll post the amount when it ends.
