Tornado Threat Southern Plains
The 5% area of northwest Texas is a significant tornado threat for later today.
The 15% area is threatened with 1" or larger hail and/or thunderstorm-generated wind gusts of 60 mph or more. Note: The DFW Metroplex is included.
The thunderstorms are expected to begin this afternoon. The radar snows no storms as yet.
