Nor'easter Looming

Updated info from AccuWeather here

Original posting:

Here is AccuWeather's latest thinking about the storm forecast to develop and hit the Northeast late Wednesday into Friday morning. Gusts to 50 mph and high tides are expected in many areas where the protective sand berms are gone. AccuWeather has more details here.

Some of the models are bringing accumulating snow to Washington, D.C. but that is not a confident forecast at this point.

If you live in these areas, you might consider preliminary precautions. If you have a friend without power who cannot use the internet or television, please give them a call to make sure they know this is likely coming.

I believe we'll have a much better grasp of the dimensions of this storm this afternoon. Stay tuned!
