In Other Weather News...
The map of seven day rainfall shows the torrential rain (purple = more than 10") from Hurricane Sandy.
Unfortunately, little rain fell on the southern Plains. This week's drought map (which does not factor in Sandy's rains) shows how much rain is needed to break the drought.
