Flash Flood Risk Saturday Morning Through Monday

There is some level of flash flood risk in the indicated area but it is difficult to nail down. Skies over the threatened area are clear. However, moisture from Texas is forecast to surge northeast late tonight and Saturday. What is called by meteorologists "warm advection precipitation" will kick things off tonight.

On Sunday, a low now over the Providence of Alberta will move southeast over the region keeping the threat of heavy rain in the forecast.

So, the map shows the area where flash flooding and flooding from 6am Saturday to 6pm Monday. I'll update this Saturday morning.
