Catastrophic Flooding in Houston Metro

Harvey has brought catastrophic rains with two-day rainfalls exceeding 20 inches in much of the city and surrounding areas.

And, even more heavy rain is forecast! Here is the five-day rainfall amount forecast:
Yes, that is an additional 20 inches for the southwest part of the Houston-Galveston area with a 25" maximum near Victoria. Already rivers are exceeding record crests. The flooding will be unprecedented.

I congratulate Houston Metro for proactive risk mitigation!!
