September 2023 Was Nothing Special in the United States

The official figures are in and September 2023 was nothing special in the United States. Data from the state-of-the-art US Climate Reference Network (USCRN) shows that last month wasn't even close to being the warmest September since the network was established in 2005.  

So, yes, by some measures September was the hottest in 150 years worldwide, that was not the case in the USA based on the "gold standard" USCRN.
